Mildred 'œMillie' M. LaPorte, 99, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 in her home. She was born in Logansport, IN on April 7, 1911 to Alfonzo and Florence (DiGenova) Mazzaro. Millie had been a life-long member of Holy Rosary Parish, where she was very active in parish life. She loved to interact with people, play bingo and crochet. Millie is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Materny and Florence (Hugh) Ehrsam; grandchildren, Denise (John) Bilek, Chris (Robert) Porter and Kelly (Marlene) Ehrsam; great-grandchildren, Brianne and Kaylyn Porter, Angelica, E.J. and Rylee Ehrsam. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Herman, parents, sister, Ester Good, and brother, Joe DiGenova. Funeral services and inurnment in St. Ignatius Cemetery will be private.
