Mildred Phillips, 90, of east Toledo passed away peacefully in Hospice of NW Ohio, Perrysburg, OH on November 25, 2004. Millie was born on March 26, 1914 to Harriet and Burton Keeler. She married Harold Phillips on October 31, 1930,and he preceded her in death in 1976. She was employed at Doehler Jarvis in Toledo before moving to Florida where her husband and she owned and operated a gas station. Millie lived in Florida until 1991 when she returned to Toledo.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Mae, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Millie is survived by sisters, Dorothy and Norma, Ft. Pierce, FL; children, William (Marian), Oregon, OH, Glen (Mari), Marietta, GA and Joseph, Largo, FL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation and interment will be private. The family would like to thank her nurses at Hospice of NW Ohio, especially Thelma, Marge, Judy, Jackie and Betsy for their loving care and support. Also, a very special thanks to Dr. Koffel and his nurses at Endoscopy Center of NW Ohio and the nurses in the GI Unit at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Millie loved you all.
