Mildred G. Rohne, 97, of Toledo , passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Genacross Lutheran of Toledo . Mildred was born in Ft. Benning , GA on April 1, 1920 to Jonathon Maxcy and Margaret (Bass) Maxcy. She was the owner and operator of Rohne's Beauty Shop on Broadway in the sixties. She was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church . Mildred loved her family and enjoyed crocheting, traveling, bingo, scratch offs and fishing. Everyone she met became her friend. She did know a stranger. Surviving are her children, Clarence (Donna) Watson, John Watson, Millie Rohne (John) Barrett; 9 grandchildren many great and great great grandchildren; sister, Theresa Crowder; brother, John Maxcy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas C. Rohne; daughter Margarette Sprouse; granddaughter, Cindy Sprouse; 7 siblings. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel. 440 S. Coy Road on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 12 noon. Private family interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to Grace Bible Baptist Church or to Ohio Living Hospice.
