Minerva Villarreal of Toledo and a graduate of Edward Drummond Libbey HighSchool passed away July 8th, 2014. Minerva was surrounded by her loving family in her final hours. She was a fun loving little old lady who made an impact in the lives of those who were blessed to have known her. She loved to people watch and hang out with her sister Nina on Sundays. She loved her DVR and joking with her children and grandchildren. She gave "Nutter Butter" cookies to her great grandson every night and loved to argue with him. She refused to retire from Meijer because she didnt want to leave her friends who were like family to her. Our Mom was an awesome woman, hero and role model. We find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her loving husband, our Dad. She will be truly missed and forever remembered as gg-ma. She is preceded in death by her husband Juan D. Villarreal, great granddaughter Vivica Villarreal, mother and father Salome and Enestina Gonzalez, sister Diane Uvalle, niece Irene Baeza and great neice Inez Baeza. She is survived by her children Cacana (Ramon), Veronica (Gary) and Juan A (Stacie). Grand children, Laticia, Victoria, Gabriella, Eddie, Eve, Emily, Erica, Juan, Nick, Cheyenne, Alesia, and great-grandson John. Siblings; Enedina, Eusebia, Elvira, Esigquel, Susana, Ismael, Salome, Irasema, and Ernestina. Also, close friends Debbie, Sara, and Edna. Friends and family may visit Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 440 South Coy Rd., Oregon, OH 43616, (419)-698-4301, on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday July, 12, 2014 in the Funeral Chapel beginning at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made out to the family. Thank you to all our family and friends who stayed by our side through this difficult time and a special thank you to our Mothers nurses at UTMC. We appreciate your efforts in making her as comfortable as possible and for showing our family love and compassion when we needed it the most.
