Miriam Frances Vassar, 78, of Toledo, OH passed away Friday, October 21, 2005 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Lima, OH on December 15, 1926 to Munson and Bessie (Shears) Vassar. Miriam was employed by the Continental Coffee Company for many years. She was a member of Clark Street United Methodist where she was active in various organizations. Surviving are her sisters, Roberta Vassar, Charlotte Golightley, Martha (Clair) Simpson, Carolyn (Donald) Bylow and, brother, Lawrence Vassar. Miriam was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Carl Vassar, Harriet Weirauch and Joel Vassar Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, October 23, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 p.m.. Interment will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery.
