Mitchell Raymond Moore Sr. was born Oct 14, 1956 in Oregon Ohio and was called home October 7, 2023 in St. George Utah. Mitchell worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers as a safety inspector, leading him on many different emergency operations and adventures around the world. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, a tall ice-cold beer, and all the little hugs from his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Debroh Moore, father & mother, Don and Nancy Moore, brother Mike Moore and sister, Cindi Rickman.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Cook; son, Mitchell Moore Jr. (Arika) Megan Moore, daughter, Marissa Moore (Kentrell); brother, Don Moore; and grandchildren, Mitchell, Christina, Arin, Ava, Logan, and Derius.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616 on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Willow Cemetery.
