Myron "Bucky" Caris Sr., 82, of Oregon, OH passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on January 14, 1939 to Emery and Bertha (Donnell) Caris. Bucky was a graduate of Clay High School. He worked as an Engineer for PRR, Conrail and CSX for many years, before retiring in 2007. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 859 in Crestline, Ohio, a lifetime member of the NRA and a retired member of the UTU. He enjoyed word searches, jigsaw puzzles, feeding birds and squirrels and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bucky is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Glenna; children, Myron, (Reyna) Caris Jr., Randy (Fran) Caris Sr., Laura Miller and Terry (Denise) Caris; grandchildren, Raeanna (Chad Carroll) Caris, Melissa (Dan Evans) Caris, Robert Herrick IV, Randy Caris Jr., Nicholas Herrick, Andrew Caris, Matthew Herrick, Joshua Edwards, Michael (Theresa) Edwards, Nicole (Jessica) Peters, Jessica Meyers and Jacob VanSickle; great grandchildren, Isabella Barto, Emerson Herrick, Aurora Edwards, Dominic Edwards, William Edwards, Stella Edwards and Jaxon Peters; sister-in-laws, Sandra (Jeff) Cole and Laura Miller; special niece, Regina Danneberger; and special nephew, Jordan Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Emerson Caris; and twin sister, Myrna Caris. The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. Millbury, OH 43447, on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow in West Union Cemetery in Gibsonburg.
