Obituary

Myron S. Niehousmyer, 87, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014. Myron was born in Genoa, Ohio on September 5, 1926 to Grover and Mabel Niehousmyer. He was a WW II veteran of the US Army. Myron was married to Maxine Perkins until her passing in June, 2012. Myron worked for Matlack trucking as a driver for over 30 years and was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed deer hunting, cooking, square dancing, and was an avid drummer. Myron enjoyed traveling with Maxine; especially to Germany. Myron is survived by his sisters, Helen, Edith, and Grace Niehousmyer; niece, Patsy (Herb) Huffer; great nieces, Kimberly (Kevin) Burns and Candice Darr. Myron is also survived by many great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Maxine. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 12:00 pm until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Clay Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Hospice.
