Nancy A. Enck, 87, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at Orchard Villa. Nancy was born in Toledo, Ohio, on July 28, 1924 to Fred and Naomi (Jordan) Leonhard. On June 1, 1947, she married Theodore Enck. Nancy was employed with Certified Alarm as an operator for many years. She was a lifetime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Nancy was an avid Detroit Red Wings and Cleveland Indians fan. She also enjoyed playing bingo and reading in her spare time. Nancy is survived by her children, Karen (Les) Grace, Jim (Susan) Enck, Janel (Gary) Erick, and Suzanne (John) Mierzejewski; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters, Rosemary and Janet. Visitation has been rescheduled to Friday, June 15th at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road 5:00-8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 729 White Street, Toledo, where friends may call after 9:00 am. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer'™s Association. The family wishes to thank the staff of Orchard Villa; especially, April, Amanda, Nikki, and Tasha, for the exceptional care and compassion they gave Nancy.
