Nancy L. Knell, 75, formerly of Toledo , Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo , Ohio on April 21, 1934 to Charles and Goldie (Stewart) McGee and adopted by Roy L. and Luella Day after her mother died during childbirth. Nancy graduated from Central Catholic High School and was employed by Middlesex Dry Cleaners for 24 years, Straiter Cleaners for 7 years and most recently with Bennett Enterprises and Wendy's. She was married to William H. Miller until his death in 1965 and Robert E. Knell until his death in 1997. Nancy was a great story teller and enjoyed reading books and crocheting. Surviving are her children, William (Barbara) Miller, Katherine (J. Thomas) Foor, Charles (Debbie) Miller, Eugene Miller, and Nancy (William) Scott; brother, Terrence Day; step-children, Robert Knell Jr., Edward Knell and Janet Knell; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, William H. Miller and Robert Knell Sr.; daughters, Angela Miller and Nancy Gorny; 10 brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 2:00pm until time of funeral service beginning at 7:00 pm.
