Nancy J. Levis, 80, of Waterville, Ohio and formerly of Toledo passed away July 20, 2012 at Heartland of Waterville. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 21, 1931 to Pratt and Marie (Sams) Salsburey, who preceded her in death. Nancy was employed at Dun-Rite Industries as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She also was an avid reader, a great cook and loved to collect sea shells. Surviving are her husband, William F.; daughter, Jeanne Winterhalter-Thomson; sons, Mark (Laura) Elvey and Paul (Cathleen) Elvey; stepchildren, Kathy (Rick) Feeback, Bonnie (Paul) Harden, Lynn (Kenneth) Mullins, also surviving are her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel; 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
