Nancy J. Lohberger Wasserman, 90, of Genoa, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 9, 2022 surrounded by her family. Nancy was born August 18, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Emil and Luella (Robar) Dantzer. In 1951, she married Jack Lohberger and he preceded her in death in 2004. In 2006, Nancy married Donald Wasserman and he preceded her in death in 2011. Nancy worked for Jobst Institute for many years. Nancy was a devoted catholic, attending Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Genoa and St. Jerome Catholic Church in Walbridge. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, shopping at garage sales, and visiting her favorite casino. Nancy is survived by her children, Jackie Adams, Jim (Jan) Lohberger, and Lauri (Larry) Perkins; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Dolly Janicki, Joe Dantzer, and Karen (Tony) Voegeli; along with many loving family members. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Crusa; grandson, Daniel Perkins; and sister, Donna Gilhouse. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a scripture service at 3:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner Street, Walbridge, where the family will greet friends at 9:00 am.
