Nancy A. Smith, 85, died Tuesday afternoon, May 11, 2004, at Harborside of Perrysburg. Nancy is formerly of Utah St. and was born in Marblehead, Ottawa Co., OH, to Otto and Muriel (Fry) Butt. Nancy enjoyed teaching Sunday School for over 40 years at Oakdale E.U.B. Church (now Unity U.M. Church). She also enjoyed houseplants, sewing, crocheting and quilting. Her most favorite was reading her Bible. Currently a member of First Alliance CMA Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold V., of 63 years; her parents; brothers, Harvey (Mary) and Ralph; sister, Majorie (Russell) McClure. Nancy leaves her cherished daughter, Ruthann (Frederick) Shull; grandsons, David (Pamela) and Mark (Patricia); great-grandchildren, Ashley, Katrina, Joshua, Courtney, Caleb, Hannah; her very special friend of many years, Betty Masters. Many thanks goes out to the Nurses and Doctors of Bay Park Community Hospital, Heartland Hospice, Nurses and Aides of Harborside of Perrysburg, Dr. Robert Schmidt for all her care. Coy Road, where visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with entombment to follow in Toledo Memorial Park Mausoleum.
