Naomi R. Allgier, 85, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Naomi was born to Lloyd and Ada (Schwartz) Schultheis March 12, 1936 and graduated from Waite High School. Throughout her life, Naomi worked as a bookkeeper at area nursing homes and in retail. She was an avid baseball fan and loved cheering on the Michigan Wolverines. Her hobbies included: working puzzles, word searches, playing cards and pitching pennies with her grandchildren. Naomi is survived by her children, Kim (Rick) Swartz, Robin (Dave) Herman, and Mark (Kelly) Allgier; grandchildren, Marcus (Paige) Leck, Aaron (Dana) Leck, Jay (Zina) Herman, Staci Herman (Andy Martin), and Olivia Allgier; great-grandchildren, Ari and Dorothy; sister, Carolyn Bodi; along with many loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Edward. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 4:00 pm 7:00pm. Private funeral services will be held. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in the form of donations to Genoa Retirement Village Activity Fund.
