Nasibe Giblin, 74 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Nasibe was born in Cuba on May 17, 1937 to Kamel & Maria (Arafet) Cadre. Nasibe immigrated to the United States in 1959. She had worked for St. Vincent'™s Hospital, Verd-A-Ray Corp and Fifth Third Bank where she retired from after 15 years of employment. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Nasibe was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2009, parents; step-daughter, Leisa Radford; brother-in-law, Rushdey Shaheen. She is survived by her step-daughter, Linda (Carl) Blaesing; sister, Noreida Shaheen; grandchildren, Carl (Melanie) Blaesing Jr., Carrie (Brian) Dadey; Matt (Jenna) Blaesing, Brittany Bradford, Josh Bradford; great-grandchildren, Carter, Carley, Anderson, Jackson; nephew, Rushdey (Wendy) Shaheen; great-nephew, Nicholas; great-neice, Becca. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, on Monday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Road for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be private at Restlawn Memorial Park.
