Nellie E. Smith 77, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2006 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born in Sylvania, Ohio on August 31, 1928 to Troy and Hulda (Cline) Clarkson. Nellie was employed as an office manager for the Ontario Department Stores for 22 years. She loved bowling and bingo. Surviving are daughters, Laverne (Thomas) Urbanowski, Joanne (John) Calhoun, Linda (Emory) Foor, Cheryl (Dan) Apel, Diana (Robert Thomas) Dixon, Tamara (Lee) Billups; son, Louis Smith; 5 sisters; 20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis Smith and brother, Troy Clarkson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14th from 7 to 9 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
