Nelverta E. Kertesz, 90, passed away January 13, 2009 at Otterbein Portage Valley. She was born January 4, 1919 in Parkers Landing, Pennsylvania. She was a member of Calvin United Church of Christ. Nelverta was preceded in death by her husband, John; daughters Susan Schoof and Diane Widmer. She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Jay) Emch, 3 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private. Interment will take place at Willow Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Otterbein Portage Valley.
