Nina L. Peppers 82, of Phoenix, Arizona and formerly of Walbridge, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 7, 1934 to Harold and Alice (Kneisley) Fifer. Nina was a member of the VFW Auxiliary post 9963 and the East Toledo Senior Center. She loved bowling, traveling, beer and chicken wings and cheating at cards. Nina's most cherished memories were the times she spent with her family. Nina is survived by her children, Lillian (Bailey) Grigsby, Bruce (Bonnie) Thompson, Cindy (Dee) Brazier, Linda Ramirez, Frederick (Teddie) Thompson, III, Karen Thompson; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy; sons, Kenneth and Michael Thompson; son-in-law, Phil Ramirez; granddaughter, Tabatha Worthington; brother, Arthur Fifer. A memorial service will take place for Nina at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Nina's name to Infinity Hospice Center at 5110 N. 40th St., #107, Phoenix, AZ 85018.
