Norbert O. Nicodemus, 82, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away April 25, 2008, in his home. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 30, 1925, to Orville and Jeanette (Johnson) Nicodemus. Norbert was an Air Force veteran and served his country during World War II. He was employed as a packing specialist at the Rossford Ordinance Depot for 27 years, retiring in 1973. Norbert was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and was an avid Lionel and American Flyer train enthusiast.
Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Mary; daughter, Cyndi (Stephen) Roach and grandson, Joshua Roach. Norbert was preceded in death by his parents; son, Craig Nicodemus; brothers, Loynal and Oscar Nicodemus.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2008, at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Fort Meigs Cemetery.
