Norene H. Ausmus, 60, of Graytown, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 6 2015 at home. She was born on March 2, 1955 to Stanley and Elaine (Redd) Hartford. Norene was a graduate of Clay High School. She worked as Postal Relief for the Graytown Post Office for over 20 years. Aside from work, she enjoyed antiques, yard sales, gardening and especially her grandchildren. Norene "loved her family to the moon and back." Norene is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Michael Ausmus; daughters, Shauna (Ryan) Springer, Meridith (Derek) DuPrae and Michaelena (Bryan) Martikan; grandchildren, Austin, Mason, Dalton, Kate, Lexi and Nora; sisters, Kathy Harsh and Colleen LaCourse; and her Aunt Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Terry; and brother, George. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Friday, May 15, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 1700 N. Walker Street, Graytown, Ohio on Saturday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Elliston Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be directed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
