Norma L. Eppard Manteuffel, 93, passed away on July 16, 2014 at Heartland of Oregon. She was born on March 19, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio to Arvin and Ruth (Keck) Adams. Norma was an assembler at Prestol Everlock before retiring in 1971. She was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church. Norma is survived by her children, Michael (Chris) Eppard, Thomas (Janet) Eppard, Sherry (Daniel) Katschke; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Evie) and Edward (Margaret) Adams; sisters, Mildred Proshek and Ruthann (Dennis) Griffith; sister-in-law, Wanda Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; parents; great-grandchildren, Rebecca and John Thomas; brothers, Elmer & Raymond; sister, Dorothy Weber. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
