Norma Jean Young, 60 of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Genesis of Toledo. Norma was born in Monroe, Michigan on April 25, 1957 to George and Gladys (Lorton) Jones. Norma had worked as a manager for many Sunoco Gas Stations in the area for 30 years. Norma's greatest joy was when her grandson Lincoln was born and spending time with him over the years. Surviving are her children, Shannon (Alfonzo) Davis and Josh Houghton ; grandson, Lincoln; sisters, Linda (Danny) Carroll; Faye (Dan) Beaudoin; nephews & nieces, Diana (Beth) Carroll, Dwain, Damian Carroll, Veronica, Rhonda, & Judy Casteel. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Young; sister, Charlene Spoden; nephew, Danny Carroll Jr. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon and where her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 am. Interment will be private in LaSalle Cemetery, LaSalle Michigan.
