Norman L. Hayes, 68, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on August 28, 2008 in his home. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on June 30, 1940 to Norman and Pauline (Crays) Hayes. Norman was employed by Marathon Oil for over 25 years, retiring in 1994 as a dispat cher. He also was a real-estate agent for the Disalle Realtors, and was a former Indiana National Guard Reservist. Norman was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perrysburg where he was a deacon, usher and member of the seniors group.     Surviving are his loving wife of 48 yrs., Roberta; children, Norm (Deb), Julie Delong and Lorie (Ray) Royal; sisters, Sharlene Jones and Emma Lou (Ed) Merrick; grandchildren, Brandon DeLong, Samantha and Kelly Royal, and several nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherry Wilson.   Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, August 31, 2008 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Perrysburg, 590 W. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH  on Monday at 11 a.m. Internment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery.
