Norman M. Lingo, 71, passed away April 15, 2008 at Swan Pointe Care Center. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 21, 1936 to James and Lucille (Laberdy) Lingo. Norman was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had been employed as a glass maker at Libbey Owens Ford for 30 years, retiring in 1984. Norman was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church and the Masons.   Surviving are his loving wife of 30 years, Shirley; children, , Norma (Rick) Armstrong, Mitchell Lingo, James (Angela) Lingo and; step-children, Lori (Max) Vasquez and Steve Lojewski,  Leo (Sandra) Collins;  9 grandchildren.  Norman was preceded in death by his parents.  Private family visitation and services were held in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Friday.  Interment followed in Toledo Memorial Park.   Those wishing to give an expression of sympathy should consider the Heartland Hospice.
