Norman K. Scott, 96, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was born in Waynesburg, Tennessee on July 14, 1921 to Charles and Isadore (Chauncy) Scott. On January 12, 1942, he married Kathryn Smith. Mr. Scott served in the United States Army during World War II and retired as a miller with National Biscuit Company in 1985. His memberships included: Northwood VFW Post #2906 and Port Lawrence Masonic Lodge. Norm is survived by his daughter, Norma Bedee; daughter-in-law, Shelly Scott; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathryn; sons, Robert Scott and Michael Scott; son-in-law, Ron Bedee; and siblings, George, Carnie, Mary, and Nell. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
