Norman L. Simmons was born on April 25, 1937, at Toledo, Ohio, and passed away on July 4, 2003. He resided in Oregon, Ohio for the past twenty-four years. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Simmons was employed at Lott Industries for many years. Mr. Simmons is survived by his many friends at Community Residential Services, Lott Industries, Larc Lane Senior Center and Christ United Methodist Church. "Norman's gentle character shall be remembered by all his friends." Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in North Oregon Cemetery on Otter Creek Road.
