Nova G. Patterson 91, formerly of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023. Nova was born July 24 1931 in Meadow Bridge, West Virginia to Charles and Edith (Bridges) Remley. On March 1, 1952, she married Jimmie C. Patterson. Nova worked as a telephone operator with C & P Telephone and later for Bob Eddy Buick, Toledo, Ohio. She enjoyed quilting, reading, shopping for antiques and was a longtime member of Fort Industry D.A.R.

Nova is survived by her children, Angela Patterson, Brigitte (Bill) David, Jay (Liz Hallett) Patterson, and Patrick (Joyce) Patterson; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Rae (Dick) Matacia. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmie; grandson, Doug Boos; and siblings, James Remley, Charles Remley, John Remley, Ethan Remley, and Murleen Long.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Private funeral services will be held. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Otterbein of Pemberville who lovingly cared for Nova during her final years.
