Ophelia G. Garcia, 70, of Toledo, passed away on August 2, 2011 at her home. She was born in Carrizo Springs, Texas on October 1, 1940 to Estaban and Otila (Lerma) Guerrero. On September 23, 1957, she married Francisco Garcia. Ophelia was a member of St. Peter and Paul Parish where she was active in many church functions including singing in the prayer group. She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets and grocery bag holders. Ophelia is survived by her husband, Franciso; children, Eugene (Patty) Garcia, Cynthia (Carlos) Sanchez, Frank (Cheryl)Garcia and Michael (Angel) Garcia; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Abel (Cathy) and Ismael (Norma) Guerrero; sister, Delma Vargas. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Annette, and brother, Mario. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Thursday, August 4th from 2:00-9:00 pm where the rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 am Friday with prayers in the funeral home and proceed to St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: Thursday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Services: Friday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Interment: Ottawa Hills Memorial Park
