Oscar R. Mike Harris, 93, of Oregon, OH passed away May 1, 2007 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born in Toledo on April 30, 1914 to Oscar and Melinda (Reinheart) Harris. Mike was employed as an iron worker at Local 55 for 30 years, retiring in 1971. He also was a lifetime commercial fisherman with Harris Fisheries and a member of the Harbor View Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are his children Linda Kosch, Wayne, Danny, Glenn, Gerald and Marvin Harris and Ellen McKenzie; 25 grandchildren; 66 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda; parents; son, Ervin; brothers, Olan and Garnet and sisters, Sedona, Opal, Doris, Pearl and Madonna. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park.
