Obituary

Oscar N. Sauceda III, 10, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Friday, March 6, 2009, at Toledo Children's Hospital with his loving family by his bedside, after a one year, brave fight against leukemia. His fight was so strong it amazed his doctors. Oscar was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 20, 1998. He was a student at Coy Elementary School. Oscar enjoyed playing video games, golfing, and baking cookies, cakes, making angel eggs rather than deviled eggs and eating barbequed ribs. Above everything Oscar's love for God has always been first in his life. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Jessica and Sal Villegas; father and step-mother, Oscar II and Angela Sauceda; brothers and sisters, Salomen, Andy, Serena, Antonio Villegas, Daniel, Adam, Juanita Sauceda; grandparents, Daisy and Nicholas Garcia, Ramona and Oscar Suaceda. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday from 2-9 p.m. where a Scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and proceed to St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
