Patricia A. Deehr, 76, of Walbridge, Ohio and formerly of east Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, in her home. She was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on April 12, 1932, to Charles and Ethel (Sprague) McCrory. Pat graduated from the Ohio State School for the Blind in 1951 where she met her husband, Russell of 57 years. She was employed by The Sight Center for the Blind. Pat's greatest love was being around her family, who loved her very much in return. Surviving are her husband, Russell Jr.; daughters, Deborah (Michael) Huss, Barbara (Michael) Szymanski; son, Michael (Tina) Deehr Sr.; grandchildren, Matthew Huss, Lisa (Kevin) Sullivan, Sarah Huss, Beverly Huss, Jason Szymanski, Emily (Jon Hartke) Szymanski, Megan Szymanski, Michael (Nicole) Deehr Jr., Amanda (Nick) Baer, Laura Deehr, and Abigail Deehr; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Meredith Deehr. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edwin McCrory; sister, Miriam Sterling. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, February 20, 2009, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Patricia's memory may be made to East Christian Church.
