Patricia E. Duke (O'™Hair) went home to be with her Lord on August 4, 2012 in the comfort of her home in Las Cruces, NM under the loving care of her family due to complications resulting form the early onset of Alzheimer'™s disease. Patty was born September 26, 1939 and raised in Toledo, Ohio by her parents Everett and Elma O'™Hair (both deceased). Patty had a younger brother, Mike (also deceased). She has been a resident (along with her husband) of Las Cruces, NM since 1996. Patty was a graduate of Clay High School of Oregon, OH (Class of '™57) and of the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing (1960). She later received her BS degree in Nursing form Loretta Heights College (now Regis University) in Denver, CO. She was a devoted wife and mother as well as a professional nurse. Active in church work, Patty was blessed with many talents in crafts, sewing, and music. Patty is survived by her husband, William G. Duke, and three daughters; Dawn Schreckengost of Colorado Springs, CO; Paige Marino of Sandwich, MA; and Jill Duke of Las Cruces, NM, as well as five grandchildren. Patty will be buried in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park in Toledo, Ohio alongside her parents at her request. Visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road from 4:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
