Patricia R. Fejes, 84, of Oregon, Ohio passed away September 28, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 20, 1926 to Everett and Margaret (Hoehn) Teague the 6th of 11 children. A Waite High School graduate in 1944, Pat was employed by the former Tiedkes department store in the drug department for 11 years, retiring in 1950. She was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church and the Pythian Sisters. She and her husband, Bill traveled extensively during his career with Gulf Oil. They spent their early years of marriage in Venezuela and learned to love the culture, food, and people of Louisiana, where they lived for more than 20 years. Avid fishermen, she and Bill spent many weekends fishing with their girls in the Gulf of Mexico.
Patricia collected ruby glass, music boxes, angels and light house memorabilia, enjoyed cross stitching, and bowled in the Senior League for many years.
Surviving are her daughters, Dr. Kathy Fejes of Ames, Iowa, Mrs. Karen (Paul) Mainieri of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Kimberly (Eddie) Marquette of Okeechobee, FL; grandchildren, Armand and Arianne Mendoza, Nicholas, Alexandra, Samantha and Thomas Mainieri, Seth and Kyle Guidry and Amber Lee Marquette; sisters, Mary Farkas and Martha Meyers, both of Oregon, OH; brothers, Dr. Robert Teague of Tempe, AZ, Kenneth Teague of Grove City, OH and David Teague of Toledo. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William, and brothers, Richard, George, James, Frank; sister, Geraldine; half brother, Morris; half sisters, Dorothy and Jeanette.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at First St. John Lutheran Church, 2471 Seaman St. on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery with a bereavement luncheon to follow a the church. Expressions of sympathy in Patricia'™s memory can be made to First St. John Lutheran Church, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of the donor'™s choice.
