Patricia J
Heintschel
January 21, 1963 – December 5, 2024
Patricia J. Heintschel, 61 of Oregon, Ohio, lost her 4-year battle with cancer
and passed away at her home on Thursday, December 5, 2024 surrounded by
her family. Patty was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 21, 1963 to Arthur
and Betty Mae (Marriott) Samples. Patty was proud to be a caregiver and
nanny to Max, Gina, and Charlie. If you knew Patty, you knew she had a
huge heart and lifelong love for all animals. Rescuing many and being an
advocate for the many dogs she has rescued over the years. Patty loved to
stay busy whether it was shopping, volunteering at the "Healing Barn" and
caring for her horse, Journey, or delivering donations to multiple animal
shelters. Patty was proud to be a "cheer mom" for Cassidy with Midwest
Cheer Elite. She loved being in the sun even if it was the pool in the back
yard or going on the boat. Her favorite place to go in the summer was
Clamdiggers for mashed potato pizza and drinks. Many good memories with
friends that often-involved shots of Titos and strawberry margaritas. She
always wanted to host parties with friends and family and always strived to
have the best parties. Patty was a big music fan and loved all kinds of music
and going to concerts, but her favorite was Christmas music and the Trans
Siberian Orchestra. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and
loved Father Al.
Surviving are her loving husband, Thomas, spending 36 years together 30 of them being married; daughters, Chrissy
(A.J.) Sanchez and Cassidy Heintschel, her brothers Charles (Maryjo)
Samples, Kenneth (Pam) Samples, and sister, Donna Lenard (Randy),
brother-in-law Leo Heintschel, and sister in law Mary Jo Freimark (Jim).
Patty was preceded in death by her mother Betty (Marriott) Samples and
