Patricia Marie Irving-Knitz, born on September 22, 1969 was taken from us suddenly on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Patricia dearly loved her family and friends and will be terribly missed. Patty received her associate's degree in nursing from Owens Community College. She loved her job working with patients often calling herself a patient advocate. She had a great love of music and could play the piano with great skill. She also loved to repair small appliances and do small wood working projects. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Edward Irving. Surviving is her mother, Shirley; siblings; Richard Jr. (Melinda Kaye], Michael (Wanda) and David; niece, Kayla Makenzie Irving; nephews, Connor, Calvin (Carla) their son Dylan, and Nick; aunt, MaryAnn (Herm) Baerkircher, uncles, Ronald (Peg) Hillabrand, Tom Irving, Louis "Red" Irving; along with many cousins. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, OH on Thursday, December 27, 2019 from 2-8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 9:00 am in St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, Ohio where the family will greet visitors after 8:00 A.M. Inurnment will take place in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Ignatius Church.
