Patricia A. Staley, 90, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Mercy Health – St. Charles Hospital. She was born on March 5, 1935 to Mary Trent and Calvin Lawson in Jacksonville, Illinois.

She was a graduate of Woodward High School. Pat worked as a cashier at Joseph's Supermarket for 15 years. On December 1, 1954 she married the love of her life, Grant Staley. Pat was a lifetime member of the Northwood VFW Auxiliary Post 2984, a volunteer at the Experimental Aircraft Association Post 582, and served on the board of directors for the East Toledo Senior Center. She was a faithful member of Unity of Toledo Spiritual Center. In Pat's free time she enjoyed reading, dancing and activities with her girlfriends.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Eunice (Claude) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Kristin (Tony) Martin, Brian Martin Jr., and Kayla O'Dea; special niece, Dawn Harmon; nieces and nephews, John Stover, Jill Deneau, Kathie Stover-Reece, Jim Stover, Patrick Stover; and good friend, Renee.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Grant Staley; granddaughter, Kyra Clark; great-grandson, Timothy Martin; brothers, John Stover and James Stover; infant brother David Stover; and niece, Susan Stover.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, Mach 21, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 am in the funeral home with an additional hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery.
