In Loving Memory - Patricia Zeller

January 17, 1945 - October 5, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of a deeply loved aunt, sister, wife, and friend on October 5, 2026, at the age of 81.

Pat was born on January 17, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, to Gertrude Sabala and John Sabala, she lived a life filled with love, curiosity, personality, and an unmistakable sense of style.

Early in life, she met her beloved husband and life partner, Robert Zeller, with whom she shared a beautiful life and many cherished memories. Family was incredibly important to her, and throughout the years she poured so much love into her nieces and nephews. Her presence, personality, and spunky spirit made her someone who was truly unforgettable.

She dedicated many years of her professional life to caring for others through her work as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, where she eventually retired.

Outside of her career, she found happiness in the simple and beautiful things in life. She loved birdwatching, spending time at the Metro parks, painting, and reading philosophy books. She was thoughtful and intelligent, with a natural curiosity about life and the world around her.

She was also known for her incredible sense of style. She was always beautifully put together, and no outfit was ever complete without the perfect matching jewelry. Those who knew her will undoubtedly remember her fashionable flair, her personality, and the special way she carried herself.

She now joins her beloved life partner, Robert Zeller, in Heaven, along with her parents, Gertrude and John Sabala, and her sisters Janet and Bonita who passed before her.

She leaves behind family members who will mourn her loss deeply, especially the nieces and nephews who were fortunate enough to receive so much of her love throughout her lifetime.

Although her absence will be felt tremendously, those who loved her will continue to carry her memory forward-in the birds outside the window, peaceful walks through the park, beautiful paintings, thoughtful books, a perfectly coordinated piece of jewelry, and all of the little things that made her uniquely her.

Her spunky spirit, love, and memory will remain with her family always.

May she rest peacefully, reunited with those she loved and missed so dearly.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public visitation, showing, or funeral services. She chose instead for her family to honor and remember her privately. Her family lovingly respects her wishes and asks others to do the same as they celebrate her life and cherish her memory in their own special ways.
