Patsy M. Spurgeon, 80, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 9, 2017, surrounded by her family. Patsy was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 5, 1936 to Murl and Faith (Cox) Steveson. On January 11, 1958, she married Robert Glauser and he preceded her in death. On June 19, 1993, she married Robert Spurgeon. Patsy worked as a cashier at Kroger and assisted her family in the operation of Glauser's Flower Shop in Northwood, Ohio for over 40 years. She enjoyed bowling and traveling with her husband. Her true passion was spending time with her family; especially her children and grandchildren. Patsy is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert; children, Terry (Dan) Dippman, Tracy (Mike) Parker, James (Hope) Spurgeon, and Bonnie Spurgeon; grandchildren, Kristen (Robert) Rice, Jacob (Dominique) Dippman, Travis Fields, Sara Parker, Jodi Butcher, Jessica Spurgeon, Christie (Shawn) Henebry, and Dr. Liz Spurgeon; along with 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
