Patty Jo Scheanwald Skinner, 65, Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 5, 2017. Patty was born on February 8, 1952 to Gerald and Betty "Waller" Scheanwald. She was a graduate of Morrison R. Waite High School and Davis Business College. She was employed with the city of Oregon for over 38 years and enjoyed working with "her boys" in the Building and Zoning Department where she retired in 2011. In her retirement years, Patty enjoyed traveling to casinos, doing cross stitch, following March Madness, golf and being a cheerleader for her nephews and nieces. Patty is survived by her husband of 25 years, Carl "Wendell" Skinner Jr., her fur babies Lucy and Suzy; sisters, Terry "Scheanwald" Emery, Polly "Scheanwald" Holl (Jim); brother, Jerry Scheanwald (Lee), nephews, Adam Holl (Keri), Joshua Brown, Shane Wagner, Cody Skinner; nieces, Sara "Emery" Wooten (Kyle), Tara Emery, Kayla Emery, Taylor "Scheanwald" Wilke (Jace), Megan Brown, Amber "Wagner" Marks (Brian); great nephews, Cameron Holl, Korbin Wooten; great-niece, Cali Holl. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tim Scheanwald. Friends may visit at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio 43616 on Saturday, March 11th from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. A "Celebration of Life" service will be held at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy in Patty's memory are asked to consider ALS or ASPCA.
