Obituary

Paul A. Bolin Jr., 65, of Elmore, Ohio, formerly of Graytown, Ohio, passed away on November 23, 2013, surrounded by his family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Paul was born on July 12, 1948 to Paul and Doris (Putterbaugh) Bolin Sr. in Toledo, Ohio. He was a Bowsher graduate of the class of 1967. On May 23, 1970 Paul married his best friend and the love of his life. Paul worked for Toledo Machining for 38 years as a Machinist and later as a Job Setter before retiring in 2008. During his time at Chrysler, Paul would be referred to as 'œHoghead.' He continued to work for Charlie'™s Dodge after retirement. Paul was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Rocky Ridge. He took great pride in coaching young men in football and becoming their mentors. Paul and his wife loved to take day trips, visiting small home towns and eating at local restaurants. Paul and Linda recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in front of family and friends. Paul was an avid Ohio State fan and enjoyed going to several games with his son and wife. Paul truly was a great man and will be missed by all. He was always, 'œPeachier than Hell!' Surviving are his loving wife of 43 ½ years; son, Paul Bolin III; sister, Donna (John) Helle; brother-in-laws, Jim (Janie), Mel, Jon (Susie) Henley; sister-in-laws, Gail Medina, Jean (George) Ford; father-in-law, Jim Henley; 10 nieces and nephews; 9 great- nieces and nephews; loving dog, 'œJunie;' and a special thanks to Karen AKA 'œRose', Nancy, JoAnne, Michelle, and Deb for caring for Paul while he was at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family would also like to thank the nurses at St. Charles Cancer Clinic. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Patricia Henley. Friends and family may visit Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. on Tuesday, November 26, from 2-9 p.m., and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions in Paul'™s name be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 East River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 or The All Ohio State Fair Youth Choir, P.O. Box 382 Pataskala, Ohio 43062.
