Paul L. Edwards, 89, of Curtice, OH passed away Thursday, December 15, 2005 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Webb City, MO on July 12, 1916 to Elmer E. and Anna May (Blakeman) Edwards. Paul was a veteran of the US Air Force during World War II, and had been employed as a superintendent at Bechtel Engineering, retiring in 1968. His memberships included St. Luke Lutheran Church, Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, Blue Lodge in Independence, MO, Local #50, American Legion Dunberger Post and Harbor View Yacht Club. Surviving are his children, Michael, of Bedford, OH and daughter, Paula Edwards, of Curtice, OH; grandchildren, Gregory Scott Edwards, Sherrie Allwood and 3 great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his wife E. Christine, parents, brother, William Edwards and sister, Eva. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, December 16, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with interment following in Oakwood Cemetery.
