Paul D. Hileman, 87 of Oregon, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the Genoa Care Center where he had been a patient. Paul was born in Van Wert County, Ohio on March 30, 1918 to Elias and Eliza (Bilderbach) Hileman. He retired from the Union Oil Company after 39 years of service. Paul was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Paul was also a member of the Lakeshore VFW, Yondota Masonic Lodge and the Oregon Fire Department #3. Paul is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Eileen; daughters, Joyce (Dick) Plumb, Jane (Glen) Tank, Janis (John) Wolf, Juanita Richmond; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sister, Florence Stevens; brothers, Harvey and Isaac Hileman. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Christ United Methodist Church, 5757 Starr Ext., Oregon and where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at North Oregon Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Pauls's name are asked to consider Christ United Methodist Church or to the Genoa Care Center.
