Paul J. Jacso III, of Northwood, Ohio passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully on Sunday, June 6, 2021 with his loving wife and daughter by his side. Paul was born in Oregon, Ohio on August 15 to Paul and Helen (Szabo) Jacso. He was a graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School and attended the University of Toledo where he received his Bachelor's degree in Education. He worked for Toledo Public Schools as a physical education and health teacher for Birmingham Elementary and Bowser High School. Paul traveled extensively and enjoyed many vacations with family and friends. He never stopped planning the adventures they could all have together. Some of Paul's favorite hobbies included bartending, coaching, cooking and baking, and attending car shows. Paul was known for his love of sports, especially hockey and basketball. He was an avid Detroit Pistons and Toledo Walleye fan.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Lynn Jacso; daughter, Jessica Jacso; sisters, Jennifer Fisher-Wend and Paula (Keith) Reynolds; brothers-in-law, Robert (Debbie) Halas and David Halas; cousins, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 11, from 4-8 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Mass will be held on Saturday at Epiphany of the Lord St. Stephen's, 1880 Genesee Street, Toledo, Ohio at 11:00 am where the family will greet friends beginning one hour prior to the mass. Private family interment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Paul's memory are asked to consider their favorite charity.
