Paul H. Koevenig, 76, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in Orchard Villa in Oregon, Ohio. Paul was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota on May 22, 1929 to Paul and Helen (Meyer) Koevenig. The family would move to Postville, Iowa where he was raised. He then moved to Toledo in 1954. Mr. Koevenig was a US Navy veteran. He was employed for 30 years at the Rossford Plant of the Libbey Owens Ford Glass Company before his retirement in 1983. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Beverly; sons, Brian (Kathy) and granddaughter, Kristel of Lambertville, MI; Craig (Sue) and grandsons, Jordan and Justin, Atalnta, GA; daughter, Kaye Koevenig, Toledo, OH. There will be no visitation and memorial services will be private. Memorial contributions in Paul's memory may be made to either, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Toledo or the charity of the donor's choice. The family would like to send a special thanks the staff at Orchard Villa, the nurses in the CCU at St. Charles Mercy Hospital, and his special friend, William Ruetz.
