Paul H. Laberdee, 84, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Paul was born October 1, 1936, in Toledo, Ohio to Howard and Marie (Oldiges) Laberdee. Following graduation from Woodward High School, Paul proudly served in the United States Army. On May 6, 1966, he married the love of his life, Joyce Epling. For over 45 years, Paul worked as a Journeyman Mold Maker throughout the Toledo area. He was an avid boater, enjoyed fishing Lake Erie for walleye and perch, taking cruises with family, and enjoyed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Paul's greatest love was hosting family gatherings and sharing in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce; children, Larry (Lisa) Laberdee, Carol (Randy) Rozek, and Mark (Lisa) Laberdee; grandchildren, Nicole Laberdee (Matt), Ryan (Olivia) Laberdee, Tyler (Kaleigh) Rozek, and Kyle (Kayla) Rozek; great-grandson, Bennett Rozek; siblings, Ralph Laberdee, Jackie Salisbury, Loretta (Tom) Bachli, and Louise (Dan) Lewis; brother-in-law, Dennis Epling; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and dear neighbors, Bebop & Kathy. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 12:00 pm – 5:00pm. Funeral services Monday, April 26, 2021, at 11:00 am in the funeral home, where the family will greet friends after 10:00 am. Masks must be worn in the funeral home. Interment: Elliston Cemetery.
