Paul Lodzinski, 41, of Oregon, OH, passed away Friday, August 11, 2006, in Cleveland Clinic with his loving family at his side. He was born in Oregon, Ohio, on January 3, 1965, to Chester and Shirley (Reihing) Lodzinski. He was a graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School, where he played on the All City team. Paul owned and operated Personalized Carpet Installation. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister, greeter and a CCD Teacher. Paul was an avid Ohio State and San Francisco 49er's fan. In his spare time, Paul enjoyed fishing, coaching and camping and Caribbean waters. Paul will always be remembered as a man very devoted to his wife, daughters and to serving God.
Surviving is his loving wife, Annette Lodzinski; daughters, Amanda Jean, Abbey Nicole Lodzinksi; mother, Shirley; brothers and sister, Andy (Kay), Mark (Beth), Sharon, David, Steven Lodzinski; mother-in-law, Roberta Wodarski; father-in-law, Ronald Wodarski; uncle, Eddie Lodzinski. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Chester Lodzinski.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Monday from 2 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. and proceed to St. Ignatius Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Paul's memory are asked to consider the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
