Paul A. Montvai, 74, of Oregon, OH, passed away March 9, 2004 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Toledo, OH on August 18, 1929 to Andrew, Sr. and Mary (Bata) Montvai. Paul was an US Army Veteran of the Korean War and had been employed as a civil engineer for Charles L. Barber & Associates. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and had recently been inducted into the Birmingham Hall of Fame.
Surviving are his brother, Andrew; niece, Michelle (Matt) Cleland; nephew, Bradley Montvai; cousins, Nancy (Larry) Bunde and Don (Elaine) Mihalko. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Betty A. Montvai.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Thursday from 3-7 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 am and proceed to St. Stephen Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Paul's memory may be given to St. Stephen Church.
