Pauline Espinoza-Zapata, 49 of Toledo, Ohio passed away suddenly Saturday, September 8, 2007 at her residence. Pauline was born on May 5, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to Michael and Cecelia (Salazar) Espinoza. She worked the registration desk for several years with both Mercy and St. Vincent's Hospitals. She also was a member of Good Shepherd Church and the Latins United Club.
Surviving are her husband, Raymundo Zapata; children, Mateo (Jaime) Espinoza, Tiburcio Zapata and Alejandro Zapata; mother, Cecelia Espinoza; sisters, Yolanda (Curtis) Haines, Juanita Espinoza, Dolores (Trino) Salazar, Donna Warrell, Lucia (John) Cosgrove and Eloysa Espinoza; brothers, Michael and Manuel Espinoza; god-children, Joseph, Steven and Sylvia Aranda and Amanda Rodriguez; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and daughter, Amelia.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd. on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 am and proceed to Good Shepherd Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Pauline's memory are asked to Marguerite Dyouville Program at St. Vincent's.
