Pearl H. Moritz, 84, of Oregon, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008 in the home of her daughter, Sandy.  Pearl was born in Toledo on September 5, 1923 to Joseph and Pearl (Zam) Veselka.  She was the widow of Jacob Moritz.  Mrs. Moritz was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church and Woodbine Chapter #61, Order of Eastern Star.  Surviving are her daughters, Cassandra (Norm Naus) Tyler, Susan (Leonard) Ott; grandchildren, Rachael Tyler, Jason Chorba, Dennis Ott, Angie Gillespie; great grandchildren, Damien Zientek, Joshua Chorba, Tanner Chorba and Ashley Gillespie; aunt, Anna Rafey.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Veselka.   Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 2 to 9 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am. Eastern Star services will be held Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Interment will take place in St. John Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to either, First St John Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
