Obituary

Pearlena 'œLee' Stidham, 78, of Oregon , Ohio passed away November 25, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born in Greenup , Kentucky on May 11, 1935 to Tony and Leona (Wilburn) Sergent. Lee was happily married to the love of her life, 'œGirk,' on May 25, 1955 and remained so until he passed away in 2002. She was employed at Chippewa Golf Club for over 17 years, and also worked at the Flying Bridge for 17 years as a waitress and manager. Her hobbies included tending to her vegetable and flower garden, cooking, going out for dinner, shopping and going to casinos. Surviving are her daughters, Cherie (Jean) Lepecheur, St. Augustine, FL, Terry (Tim) Fejes, Martin, OH, Sandy (Jimmy) Golden, Cyril, OK; grandsons, Marc and Jacob; granddaughters, Marlee and Leslie; sisters, Kathleen (William) Juhasz, Jackson, OH, Mary Sergent, Marietta, GA Vicki (Tim) Whittington, Oak Hill, OH and Marsha (Denver) Adkins, Oak Hill, OH; brothers, Tony (Nancy) Sergent, Indianapolis, IN, Don Sergent, Oak Hill, OH, Gary (Sandy) Sergent, Pedro, OH, Marlin (Barb) Sergent, Chillicothe, OH, Doug (Shirley) Sergent, Fredricksburg, VA, Keith Sergent, Oak Hill, OH, Greg Sergent, Oak Hill, OH and Timothy Sergent, Oak Hill, OH; many nieces and nephews; and best friends, Barb Daly and Marge Zirkle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Stidham; parents; and son, Hubert "Steven" Stidham. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Friday, November 29 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with interment following in Allen Township Cemetery . Expressions of sympathy in Lee'™s memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Judes Children'™s Research Hospital . Her family would like to thank CeCe, Mae and the rest of the staff from Orchard Villa, and everyone from Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
